Let the Summer season begin
There’s this sentiment that’s been thrown around the community, one that’s lingered for quite sometime now but has picked up notable popularity this year in particular:
With each latest addition, My Hero Academia automatically breaks MAL’s top 50, easily finds itself in the Anime of The Season conversation, and commands a ton of content that is vastly celebratory of its performance while never seeming to come down from that high during its run.
Hinamatsuri isn’t just a competent, well polished entry in its genre space, but also the center of easily the nicest fanbase to be around this Spring season.
So it looks like all that whining was for nothing, good job.
Mahou Shoujo Site had steadily rubbed various critics and an array of other viewers in such a wrong way, that there are people passing moral judgment on those who liked it. It’s ridiculous.
A Place Further Than The Universe’s reception has been booming since completion – with a large swath of viewers and critics referring to it as a masterpiece, no contest choice for anime of the season, and even anime of the year.
