It would’ve been nice to get some of the key vignettes that episode eight dished out as real-time, fuller segments instead of flashbacks

Kanojo Okarishimasu’s latest offering is executed deep in its genre’s wheelhouse, but inevitably made surprisingly entertaining with the direction that it took.
And suddenly, six weeks have passed. Half the anime season is in the grave and we’re now coasting downhill until we reach Fall.
Unexpectedly solid visual effort: featuring some nice layouts and attractive composition that worked well to complement the gravity of what was occurring.
While a good chunk of Kanoakri’s plot beats are influenced by convenience and thus comes off as manufactured – they are quietly built well enough to efficiently achieve their emotional goals and not falter
